Virtual 5k

Roy and Bonnie’s Virtual 5k 2023

We held our event in support of EDS because of 2 of our 3 zebras lost their battle in 2022. Ryan at age of 31 lost his fight on July 17, 2022 and Zack at the age of 28 lost his fight on December 16, 2022. Our one remaining zebra is doing well and walked with us. Zack was diagnosed with vEDs in October 2018 and Ryan in May 2019. Our boys fought through their struggles and was strong even when their bodies were weak!! This year the run/walk was held on Ryan's birthday.

Amanda’s Virtual 5k 2023

My name is Amanda and I have hypermobile EDS and other co- morbidities but I wasn’t able to participate in-person in Wisconsin but I live in Michigan and hosted my own. I participated and finished the 5k with my family I also had a table with info on EDS and brochures and flyers and was able to hand out to some.
